BATTLESHIP MISSOURI MEMORIAL
The Battleship Missouri Memorial, located a mere ship's length from the USS Arizona Memorial, completes a historical visitor experience that begins with the "day of infamy" that saw the sinking of USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor and ends with Imperial Japan's unconditional surrender aboard USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay. Following an astounding career that spans five decades and three wars, from World War II to the Korean conflict to the Liberation of Kuwait, the "Mighty Mo" was decommissioned and is now a proud tribute to the U.S. Navy, veterans and the historic role the USS Missouri played in World War II.
The Battleship Missouri is open daily from 8 am to 4 pm (extended hours in the summer). General admission includes guided and self-guided tour options. For a behind the scenes look, add the new "Heart of the Missouri Tour". For more information or to make reservations, call (toll-free) 1-877-644-4896 or visit USSMissouri.org.
The best way to see Kauai is by helicopter. Island Helicopters has been offering their signature 50-60 minute "Kauai Grand" deluxe circle island tour from the Lihue airport for over 32 years, longer than any company in Hawaii.
With the excitement of their newest tour, Island Helicopters is thrilled to have the honor to offer their return guests as well as new visitors to experience something new, unique and exclusive during their escape to beautiful Kauai.
Just a few years ago Island Helicopters introduced the island's newest and most elite tour. The "Jurassic Falls" Waterfall Landing Adventure is the only legally permitted waterfall landing tour on Kauai. Only offered through Island Helicopters, this 75-85 minute tour includes their signature deluxe circle island tour as well as enjoy time at Manawaiopuna Falls (Jurassic Falls). After the pilot lands the helicopter near the base of this distinguished waterfall, passengers will take a short walk along a jungle pathway which leads up to the base of the waterfall. Guests will feel the mist and power of the magnificent 400 ft. waterfall. Once back in the aircraft, the pilot will lift off to continue with a detailed tour of the glorious garden island of Kauai. The Waterfall Tour is a permitted tour, some restrictions do apply and advance reservations are required.

Safari Helicopters is a 25 year old family business that's small enough to personally manage every detail and big enough to be the leading innovator in flightseeing in Hawaii. It is the first tour operator in Hawaii to fly helicopter tours in an air-conditioned ASTAR helicopter dubbed by Preston Myers as the "Cadillac" of sightseeing helicopters.
Safari is also the first in Hawaii to offer two-way communication between passengers and pilots featuring noise canceling headsets and the first to install a camera system to record your actual tour with live narration and music. The newest additions on Kauai are the Super Mega Windows with bottom of the floor to top of the cabin visibility. It is like flying without doors but much safer. Only 20% of Kauai is accessible by car.
Come on Safari with us and see what every one else is going to be missing.
