Details
This year's expo (Aug. 14 to 16) features guest speakers Dr. Robert Miller, Dale Myler, Rick Lamb, Jack Brainard and Tim Flach. A benefit for the Hawaii Island Humane Society’s Horse Rescue Fund, which was established to help abused and abandoned horses. For expo tickets, call (808) 887-2301 or visit HawaiiHorseExpo.com.
Discounted accommodations available at the Royal Kona Resort. The resort also has a “Lost Hat” package, which includes access to the welcome party (Aug. 13) and the farewell luau (Aug. 17). For reservations, call (800) 22-ALOHA (222-5642).
