For the July/August 2008 issue of HAWAII Magazine, we created A Modern Luau Guide—complete with eight mouth-watering recipes from noted Hawaiian chef Fred DeAngelo and some stunning color food photography.

We promised three things on the Web for any of our readers who wanted to create the luau wherever they live. 



First was an invitation that you can download and print. (To save some trees, there are three invitations on each page. Print out the invitation on some nice paper, fill out the details, cut and you're ready to go.)

Second was a small menu to put at each table, to add a classy touch and inform people what they are eating for each course.







Finally, if you wanted to compose your own invitation, here's a glossary of Hawaiian terms commonly used in luau invitations.
