"This was taken at a luau in Lahaina, Maui, in June 2008. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, and were front-row-center. We took a lot of photos that night, but this is one of my very favorites. A beautiful dancer, a gorgeous sunset, and magnificent food—all on an amazing island I miss very much."

"This photo was taken on Kauai's north shore at Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge, overlooking the Kilauea Lighthouse.  The view was incredible.
