The Navy League of the United States

To enhance the morale and welfare of those who serve and their families; update our community and elected officials on the importance to Hawaii, and our nation, of maintaining strong and safe sea services; build tomorrows leaders through youth leadership programs.

The Navy League of the United States was founded in 1902. We are a military service organization and the trusted civilian partners of the sea services. We support of the men and women who serve and their families.

Today, we continue to meet our mission by providing support to service members in Hawaii through over 30 programs and initiatives. Examples of our support:

• Events to honor spouses who have played a significant role in helping to foster communication, cooperation and support amongst families

• Partnership with the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard to celebrate the Apprenticeship Graduates

• Events to recognize outstanding performance by active duty from commands throughout Hawaii and the Pacific Area

• Sponsor STEM Cub Scouts, Robotics Girl Scouts and Cyber Camps which fosters new skills, and allows keiki to experience the joy of science and technology, and grow in maturity and responsibility

• Professional military education providing a cursory review of financial planning, VA Medical eligibility, VA home ownership and more – doing our part to prevent veterans from getting into financial peril or becoming homeless through prevention.

• Connecting the Wounded Warriors with the community through friendship, mentorship and recreational activities.
