The iconic Waiahole Poi Factory (WPF) has its roots in the Ko`olaupoko area for well over a hundred years. Kama`aina and malihini alike can reminisce to a simpler time in Hawaiian history that refreshes the soul. Customers love walking through our back parking lot to enjoy the nostalgia of sitting on the hood of their car, truck tailgate, or if you’re lucky… a park bench… to take in the sights and sounds of old Hawai’i that have existed here, even before WPF was built, while appreciating traditional Hawaiian food (plate-lunch style) that you would typically find at a luau. True to its name, Waiahole Poi Factory continues to mill poi almost every day and provides a hand-pounding poi demonstration on Wednesdays and Sundays. Our famous Sweet Lady of Waiahole dessert features our freshly made kulolo, available ala carte. Everything is made fresh and/or sourced locally… and most importantly… it’s ONO (delicious)!
