A new dawn of live entertainment rises in Cirque du Soleil ‘Auana—a Hawai‘i-inspired production that offers world-class acrobatics, comedy, talented musicians and singers, and mesmerizing hula. The unparalleled ensemble brings together international and local talents to shine a fresh light on the spirit of Hawai‘i. ʻAuana debuted in December 2024 and performs exclusively at the custom-designed Outrigger Theater located at the Outrigger Waikīkī Beachcomber Hotel. The compelling production unfolds across eight chapters, each inspired by a distinct Hawaiian story. The title, ʻAuana, is a Hawaiian word derived from the loose translation “to wander,” “to journey,” or “to veer off the beach path.” The name foreshadows the thrilling adventure audience members will take part in, traversing through Hawaiʻi’s legendary moʻolelo (stories) and historic events.
