Hawaii national parks offer free entry Jan. 19

This includes the Hawaii parks that regularly charge admission—Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Puuhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park, both on Hawaii Island, and Haleakala National Park on Maui.   More

New land conservation on Hawaii Island could become part of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

The sale prevents future development on the land, which the non-profit says could become part of the national park in the next few years.   More
