Established in 1850, Kualoa is a 4,000-acre working cattle ranch thats become well-known as the filming location for over 300 Hollywood movies and TV shows since the 1950s. Blockbusters like “Jurassic Park,” “Jurassic World,” “Jumanji,” “50 First Dates,” “Kong: Skull Island,” “Lost,” and the re-boot of “Hawaiʻi 5-0” have all been shot here. But Kualoa isn’t just about filmwe also run a large-scale livestock, farming and aquaculture operation, employing over 500 dedicated staff members. When you visit, youre supporting a wide range of local jobs, including ranchers, farmers, fishermen, land stewards, landscapers and hundreds of tour guides.
