Oʻahu
4th of July Concerts at Ala Moana
Friday, July 4, and Saturday, July 5, 4-10 p.m.
Ala Moana Center is hosting a two-day concert series to celebrate 4th of July. The series takes place on the Makai Deck on the second level of the mall. You can reserve free general admission tickets, and there are a limited number of premium tickets available for purchase. 4th of July Fireworks and Community Festival
Friday, July 4, 1-9 p.m.
Haleʻiwa’s close-knit community is hosting a free and family-friendly 4th of July event on Oʻahu’s North Shore. The festival at Haleʻiwa Beach Park will include a vintage car show, food vendors, live entertainment and family activities. Kailua Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Parade
Friday, July 4, 10 a.m.
Kailua town is hosting its 76th parade this year, which brings together the Windward side of the island. Every year, Kainalu Drive comes alive with vibrant floats and marching bands. What started as a small event has grown into a beloved tradition. kailuachamber.com/4th-of-july-parade.
4th of July Kailua Fireworks Show
July 4, 8 p.m.
Stick around and find a sandy spot on Kailua Beach to watch the annual fireworks show. The firework display starts at 8 p.m. Bring a beach towel, picnic dinner, and enjoy the show. kailuafireworks.com.
Celebrate 4th of July at Hukilau Marketplace
Friday, July 4, 4-9 p.m.
The Hukilau Marketplace in Lāʻie hosts an annual family-friendly event with activities for the whole ʻohana as well as food and vendors. There will also be a concert with top local performers like Natural Vibrations and Ekolu, followed by a firework show at 9 p.m. hukilaumarketplace.com/events.
Hilton Hawaiian Village
July 4, 7:45 p.m.
Every Friday, the evening sky in Waikīkī lights up with fireworks thanks to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. This year, Independence Day falls on Friday, so find a spot on Waikīkī Beach to enjoy the show and celebrate 4th of July.

Maui
Makawao Town Parade Hoʻolauleʻa 2025
June 28, 9 a.m-4 p.m.
The Makawao Parade is an Upcountry tradition, now in its 57th year. The parade always takes place on the Saturday before July 4. Makawao Stampede 2025
July 4-6, 11 a.m-5 p.m.
From July 4-6, exciting festivities will take place at the Oskie Rice Event Center. There is the Monster Bull Bash on Friday, Paniolo Day on Saturday, and the championship performance on Sunday. oskiericeeventcenter.com.
South Maui Fireworks Show
July 4, 8 p.m.
Most years, there is an extravagant firework display to celebrate Independence Day in South Maui. So, the best place to watch the show is on a beach in Wailea or Kīhei. The fireworks begin at 8 p.m.
Hawaiʻi Island
61st Annual 4th of July Parker Ranch Rodeo and Horse Races
July 4, 9 a.m. (Gates open at 7:30 a.m.)
The 4th of July rodeo at Parker Ranch is the largest annual event in Waimea, welcoming thousands of spectators and community members to celebrate Independence Day and the unique paniolo heritage in Hawaiʻi. Hilo Bay Blast
July 4, 7-8 p.m.
On the east side of the Big Island, families can enjoy Independence Day festivities at Hilo Bay. The Hawaiʻi County Band will perform at the Moʻoheau Park bandstand beginning at 7 p.m. with the fireworks launching at 8 p.m. The band will also present a live accompaniment to the fireworks.
2025 Historic Kailua Village Independence Day Parade
July 4, 6 p.m.
On Hawaiʻi Island, you can also enjoy the 4th of July parade, which makes its way along Kuakini Highway and Aliʻi Drive. The parade begins at 6 p.m. and is followed by the Independence Day Extravaganza fireworks exhibition at 8 p.m. paradesinkona.com.
