Locally grown on the sandy, surf-riddled shores of Oʻahu’s North Shore, Kevin Allen was an intern, associate editor and editor at HAWAIʻI Magazine. After graduating from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, Kevin—who worked as the features editor of the university’s paper—found himself as an intern at HAWAIʻI Magazine before wiggling his way through the ranks to editor. Now living in Honolulu, Kevin likes to spend his off-hours surfing, playing music with friends or spending time with his wife and two cats.
