Gunstock Ranch on the North Shore in Laie is hosting a free community Easter egg hunt with pony rides ($3), painting a horse, horseshoe painting, food vendors, an inflatable bouncy house ($2) and face painting starting at 8:30 a.m. The egg hunt, categorized into four age groups, starts promptly at 10 a.m. and features more than 10,500 hard-boiled, candy-filled and toy-filled eggs. Keep an eye out for special colored eggs, which can be exchanged for money or prizes donated from local businesses. Prizes include two Polynesian Cultural Center luau tickets, a free horseback riding lesson at Aloha Riding Lessons and 500 McDonald’s gift certificates. If you’re purely looking for an Easter egg hunt for your keiki, you’re in luck. King’s Cathedral Maui will be hosting four hunts around Maui on Easter weekend with thousands of candy-filled eggs and prizes. On Friday, join in on the fun at Lahaina Recreation Center at 8 a.m., Kalama Park in Kihei at 10 a.m. and at Pukalani Soccer Field at 2 p.m. On Saturday, the hunt will start at 10 a.m. at King’s Cathedral Maui in Kahului. The 27th annual Celebration of the Arts Festival, Kapalua

The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua hosts this interactive arts festival, in its 27th year, featuring some of Hawaii’s famed artists, educators, cultural practitioners, speakers and entertainers to celebrate and share the state’s rich culture and history.
