This playful and refreshing cocktail brings together two Hawaiʻi-Island based brands: Kōlea Sparkling Hop Water and Kuleana Rum Works. Both companies are crafted on Hawaiʻi Island, drawing inspiration from the land, its ingredients and the community.
The collaboration celebrates local pride, blending the spirit of Kuleana’s rum with the crispness of Kōlea’s sparkliing water.

Kōlea in the Tomato Patch
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Kōlea Classic Hop Water
- 1.5 oz Kuleana Rum Works Huihui
- 2 oz tomato water
- 0.25 oz lemon juice
- 2 heaping bar spoons strawberry-guava jam
Instructions:
- Add a large block of ice to an Old-Fashioned glass and pour in the Kōlea Classic Hop Water.
- In a shaker, combine the Kuleana Rum Works Huihui, tomato water, lemon juice and strawberry-guava jam with ice.
- Shake vigorously until well chilled, then strain into the glass over the hop water.
- Garnish with a thinly sliced strawberry set on top of the ice.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the bright, island-inspired refreshment.
