As editor of HAWAIʻI Magazine, Grace Maeda is inspired to share stories about the vibrant Islands that she calls home. Born and raised on the Valley Isle, Grace swapped the sea for snow and attended Marist University in New York. After earning a degree in journalism, she returned home to write about one of the most unique and remote island chains in the world. When she’s not traveling between islands, Grace spends her days in the water, either ocean swimming or surfing.
