Hawaiian Airlines, Alaska Airlines offer Hawaii round-trip rates at $318

The fare wars continue. Multiple airlines, predominately Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Air, have round-trip flights from the continental U.S. to Hawaii for as low as $318 from January 12–21, 2016.

In what seems like a response to Virgin America’s discounted fares on their highly publicized first flights to the Islands, these Hawaiian rates are from the mainland only out of Oakland (OAK) and San Jose (SJC) to Honolulu (HNL).

When we looked them up, the $318 round-trip rate (this is a total cost which includes all taxes and fees, by the way) accommodates stays from a single day to a 15-day trip.

Various site aggregators are categorizing the seats as part of a flash sale that’ll expire in just a few days.

These rates and availability are based off flights looked up less than an hour ago at 11:30 a.m. HST.
