The 2026 HAWAIʻI Magazine Photo Contest Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by HAWAIʻI Magazine.
Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of HAWAIʻI Magazine, aio Media Group, Southwest Airlines, Waimea Plantation Cottages, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
Entry Period
The Giveaway begins on [START DATE] and ends on [END DATE] at 11:59 p.m. HST (“Voting Period”).
How to Enter
Eligible participants may enter by voting for their favorite photo(s) in the 2026 HAWAIʻI Magazine Photo Contest during the Voting Period.
Limit one (1) vote per category per person during the voting period. Duplicate, automated, fraudulent, or incomplete entries may be disqualified.
Prize
One (1) winner will receive:
- Two (2) roundtrip airline tickets for travel on Southwest Airlines
- A four (4) night stay at Waimea Plantation Cottages
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $2,000–$3,000, depending on departure city, travel dates, and seasonal airfare rates.
Prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. Prize is subject to availability and sponsor terms and conditions. Blackout dates and travel restrictions may apply.
Airline Prize Conditions
Air travel is subject to Southwest Airlines’ terms and conditions and flight availability. Winner and guest are responsible for all additional travel expenses not specifically included, including but not limited to transportation, meals, baggage fees (if applicable), gratuities, taxes, and incidental expenses.
Hotel Prize Conditions
Accommodations are subject to availability and blackout dates. Additional nights, parking, taxes, incidentals, and any other expenses not expressly stated are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Winner Selection and Notification
One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Voting Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
The winner will be contacted via email within approximately thirty (30) days following the close of the Voting Period.
If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to respond within the required timeframe, an alternate winner may be selected.
Publicity Release
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow HAWAIʻI Magazine and participating sponsors to use the winner’s name, likeness, city/state, and submitted content for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
General Conditions
HAWAIʻI Magazine reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Giveaway, as determined in its sole discretion.
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless HAWAIʻI Magazine, aio Media Group, Southwest Airlines, Waimea Plantation Cottages, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability arising from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance/use of the prize.

Information submitted with an entry is subject to the privacy policy of HAWAIʻI Magazine.
