Born and raised on O‘ahu, Catherine Toth Fox was an influential editor of HAWAIʻI Magazine. Prior to this role, she was the food editor at HONOLULU Magazine and worked for 10 years as a newspaper reporter in Honolulu. She’s been a freelance writer and journalism instructor for 20 years—and recently published a children’s book. If she’s not writing, you can find her hiking, surfing or experimenting in the kitchen. She lives in Honolulu with her husband, son, dog, cat and two chickens.
